Pakka wood is the result of innovative German technology. Birch wood is harvested in Eastern Europe. Thin veneers of birch wood are treated with a food safe colored resin and are then compressed. The result is a heavyweight, durable, heat resistant hardwood product which can withstand up to 450 degrees. Pakka wood utensils do not lose their color or absorb foods' fragrances.
